Rose Gottemoeller, Acting Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security, will travel to Berlin, Geneva, Warsaw, and Vilnius from February 27 to March 2. This will be the latest in an on-going series of meetings with her European counterparts to discuss arms control-related issues of mutual interest, including the future of conventional arms control in Europe.
Acting Under Secretary Gottemoeller will be speaking at a U.S. European Command conference at Ramstein Air Base in Germany and in Warsaw on European security issues. She will also deliver remarks in Vilnius on 21st century statecraft and arms control. In Geneva, she will discuss our desire to immediately begin negotiations on a Fissile Material Cut-off Treaty.
