Today the United States and Montenegro signed the U.S.-Montenegro "Open Skies" Air Transport Agreement, liberalizing our bilateral aviation relationship.
This agreement, which entered into force upon signature, strengthens and expands our already strong trade and tourism links with Montenegro, and will benefit businesses and travelers in the United States and Montenegro alike. It will expand opportunities for international air service and encourage vigorous price competition by airlines, while safeguarding aviation safety and security.
