Ambassador Susan Jacobs, Special Advisor for Children’s Issues, is traveling to London, May 10-11, 2012.
While in London, Special Advisor Jacobs will meet with government officials and representatives from non-governmental organizations to discuss the Hague Adoption and Abduction Conventions. They will also discuss possible areas of cooperation for encouraging other countries to join these Conventions. Increasing the number of parties to the Hague Adoption and Abduction Conventions is a priority for Special Advisor Jacobs and the Department of State.
