Assistant Secretary for Economic and Business Affairs Jose W. Fernandez travels to Denver, Colorado, from May 16-17, 2012, to participate in World Trade Week outreach.
On May 17, he will deliver opening remarks on “A World Without Barriers” at the World Trade Day 2012 Conference, hosted by the World Trade Center Denver. Assistant Secretary Fernandez will highlight the importance of leveraging free trade agreements for economic opportunity.
Also on May 17, Assistant Secretary Fernandez will meet with business community representatives to discuss Economic Statecraft and the importance of trade and investment to U.S. security and prosperity.
