Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy R. Sherman will travel to Beijing, Moscow, and London August 13-18, 2012.
Arriving in Beijing on August 13, Under Secretary Sherman will meet with senior government officials to discuss a wide range of global, regional, and bilateral issues. On August 14, Under Secretary Sherman will lead the U.S. delegation for the inaugural round of the U.S.-China-Middle East Dialogue, in which the Chinese side will be led by Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun. In Moscow and London, Under Secretary Sherman will hold consultations with her counterparts on a broad range of bilateral, regional, and multilateral issues.
