The United States congratulates the Kyrgyz Republic on the formation of a new coalition government and the selection of Jantoro Satybaldiyev as the new Prime Minister. The formation of the new coalition government is a testament to the strength of the Kyrgyz Republic’s democratic institutions. We look forward to working with the new government and continuing to build upon the strong existing partnership between the United States and the Kyrgyz Republic. The United States will continue to support the Kyrgyz Republic in its development of inclusive democracy based upon the rule of law, respect for civil society, and human rights.
