Special Representative for Global Intergovernmental Affairs Reta Jo Lewis will travel to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, October 18-24.
Special Representative Lewis will visit the cities of Almaty and Astana in Kazakhstan and Bishkek and Osh in Kyrgyzstan to meet with state and local officials to promote subnational engagement.
The United States looks forward to exploring new ways and opportunities to work with Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Special Representative Lewis will discuss the New Silk Road vision in her meetings to support greater economic integration for peace and security in the region.
