Special Adviser for Global Youth Issues Zeenat Rahman to Travel to United Arab Emirates

Special Adviser for Global Youth Issues Zeenat Rahman will travel to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from December 10-13, 2012, to take part in the third annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit and related activities.

On December 10, she will travel to Abu Dhabi to host a roundtable with young scholars and students at New York University Abu Dhabi, along with Special Representative for Global Partnerships Kris Balderston.

On December 11, Special Adviser Rahman will attend the first day of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit at the Dubai World Trade Center. On December 12, she will moderate two panel sessions at the Young Entrepreneur Forum segment of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit. The first panel will discuss the role of partnerships in facilitating entrepreneurship among youth and the second panel will discuss the role of networks in facilitating the advancement of young entrepreneurs. She will also the launch the Office of Global Youth Issues’ Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative, which will help aspiring young people to bring their innovative ideas to fruition, helping to promote individual prosperity, job creation, and economic growth in communities worldwide.
