Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration Anne C. Richard will travel on January 10, 2012, to Miami, Florida, to review the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. She will meet with resettled refugees, local and state government officials, resettlement agencies and other community members involved in the resettlement of refugees. Since 2010, Miami has welcomed more than 4,100 refugees.
On January 11, she will participate in meetings hosted by the U.S. Southern Command.
