On Monday, March 4 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Acting Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Rose Gottemoeller will participate in a Google+ Hangout to discuss how technology can help advance the way governments work to address the threat of weapons of mass destruction.
Acting Under Secretary Gottemoeller will also announce the winners of the Department of State’s Innovation in Arms Control Challenge during the Google+ Hangout and reveal their new ideas to the world. CNET Senior Writer Daniel Terdiman will moderate the live discussion with Acting Under Secretary Gottemoeller and the Innovation Challenge winners. A live player of the Hangout will be posted on the State Department's Google+ page and YouTube channel.
The public may participate in the discussion by submitting questions on the Department of State's Google+ page and on Twitter @Gottemoeller using the hashtag #AskState.
