Rapp To Participate in Discussion on the Ability of Hague Tribunals to Protect Human Rights
Ambassador at Large for War Crimes Issues Stephen J. Rapp will participate in a panel discussion in Washington, DC, on the ability of the various Hague tribunals to hold leaders accountable for grave human rights abuses. The panel discussion will take place in the Saul/Zilkha Room of the Brookings Institution on April 4, 2013, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Ambassador Rapp will be joined on the panel by Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Fatou Bensouda and President of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia Theodor Meron. The President of the Hague Institute for Global Justice Abiodun Williams will moderate the discussion.
