Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs Mike Hammer will travel to Costa Rica, May 2-5, where he will participate in the UNESCO World Press Freedom Day International Conference and discuss press and internet freedom issues with journalists, government officials, and NGOs. Following his travel to Costa Rica, Assistant Secretary Hammer will travel to Miami on May 6, where the Miami Media Hub of the Americas will host him as he participates in Spanish language media interviews and meetings focused on business and exchanges with Latin America.
