Richard Travels to Philadelphia, PA to Speak at HIAS Conference
Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration Anne C. Richard will travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to deliver keynote remarks at the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) National Refugee Resettlement Conference on May 8, 2013.
The conference aims to provide HIAS affiliate staff with opportunities to learn about new programs, share lessons learned, and brainstorm ways to better serve resettled refugees. She will also meet with the Nationalities Service Center to learn about the Rainbow Welcome Initiative, a program that serves lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) refugees.
