Ambassador James Dobbins will travel to Berlin, Germany and Brussels, Belgium from May 14-17, 2013. This is Ambassador Dobbins’ first trip in his new capacity as Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Ambassador Dobbins will lead the U.S. delegation to a meeting of the International Contact Group on Afghanistan in Berlin on May 14. More than 50 countries and organizations are expected to attend. He will also participate in the Daimler U.S.-European Forum on Global Issues from May 16-17. In Brussels, Ambassador Dobbins will visit with senior leaders at NATO and the European External Action Service.
