Deputy Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan (SRAP) Dan Feldman will make remarks at the Pakistan Embassy in Washington during the “Impact through Entrepreneurship - Partnerships for Pakistan” event on Wednesday, June 5th. He will welcome visiting Pakistani entrepreneurs from the National Information Communications & Technology Research & Development Fund Entrepreneurial Delegation.
At the event, Deputy Special Representative Feldman will also speak about U.S. Government programs to promote entrepreneurship and private sector development in Pakistan. The visiting Pakistani entrepreneurs will also pitch their businesses to an audience of investors. The event will be live-streamed at http://embassyofpakistanusa.org/eoplivebroadcast.php.
This event is being organized by the Department of State in partnership with the Embassy of Pakistan, MIT Enterprise Forum of Pakistan, and the Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) initiative, a partnership led by the Department of State and CRDF Global that strengthens innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems through programs and partnerships focused on networking, skills development, and connections to financing. GIST empowers youth across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia to develop new technology-based products and companies that create economic and social value.
The event begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Embassy of Pakistan, 3517 International Ct., NW, Washington, D.C. 20008.
