Ambassador William R. Brownfield, Assistant Secretary of State for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, will take part in a June 27 discussion on drug policy in the Americas with José Miguel Insulza, Secretary General of the Organization of American States.
The event is organized by the Wilson Center’s Latin America Program which serves as a bridge between the United States and Latin America. The program provides a nonpartisan forum for experts from throughout the region and world to discuss critical issues facing the Hemisphere.
The 3 p.m. event is open to the public and accredited media and will take place in the Center’s 5th floor auditorium at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.
