Assistant Secretary Victoria Nuland will travel to Budapest, Hungary; Istanbul and Adana, Turkey; and Kyiv, Ukraine.
On October 31 in Budapest, Assistant Secretary Nuland will attend the Visegrad Group Ministerial where she will have a range of bilateral and multilateral meetings with the regional foreign ministers and senior European officials. She will also meet with the Hungarian foreign minister and participate in a roundtable with members of Hungarian civil society.
On October 31 – November 3, the Assistant Secretary will travel to Istanbul and Adana. She will meet with senior Turkish Government officials to discuss bilateral relations and other regional issues, business leaders, and civil society groups.
On November 3-4, in Kyiv, she will meet with senior government officials and parliamentarians from multiple political parties and discuss bilateral issues as well as Ukraine’s European aspirations.
