The Partnership for Public Service today released the results of the 2013 Best Places to Work in the Federal Government rankings, and the Department of State has placed 4th overall and also 2nd in strategic management among the 19 large Federal agencies. The Department leadership is very pleased the positive feedback from our employees keeps us so highly ranked.
The rankings measure federal employee satisfaction and commitment and are based on responses from over 376,000 federal workers. The Best Places to Work rankings include 371 federal organizations – representing 97 percent of the executive branch workforce.
Best Places to Work is the most comprehensive assessment of how federal employees perceive their jobs and agencies, providing insights into issues ranging from leadership to pay, to teamwork and work-life balance.
