Secretary Kerry To Participate in "Our Ocean" Conference Twitter Q&A with Bill Nye

Secretary of State John Kerry will join Bill Nye “The Science Guy” for a Twitter Q&A at 10 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 17, to discuss the ocean as a foreign policy issue.

The Twitter Q&A will coincide with the “Our Ocean” Conference at the U.S. Department of State.

The public can submit questions in advance of the Twitter Q&A using the hashtag #OceanChat, and follow Secretary Kerry and Bill Nye on Twitter at @JohnKerry and @TheScienceGuy.

The “Our Ocean” Conference is bringing together nearly 400 participants from more than 80 nations, including government officials, scientists, private companies, and leading international institutions, to determine concrete actions that can be taken at all levels to help protect ocean ecosystems.
