The Global Cultural Initiative is a comprehensive initiative to coordinate, enhance and expand U.S. cultural diplomacy efforts worldwide. The initiative represents a renewed effort by the State Department – in partnership with public and private cultural entities – to build upon and mobilize the vast talents and resources of America's cultural institutions to support a broad reaching international cultural diplomacy effort.
