International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC): Awarded construction contract for the Main Floodway Levee segment (23rd Street - FM 1015) in the Lower Reach in the amount of $19,169,159 (40% under the government estimate)IBWC: Issue solicitation for construction services for the Hidalgo Phase I and II segments in the Lower Reach (est. week of 8/25/09)
IBWC: Issued task order for construction management services for the Banker Foodway segment construction contract in the Lower Reach in the amount of $176,327 (almost 60% under the government estimate)HSTC: The Project Team will begin actual site visits to the 5 sites selected for further consideration and conduct meetings with respective State and local officials.

Hard Skills Training Center (HSTC): The Project Team conducted a site evaluation workshop on Monday, August 17. This workshop culled the original list of 14 sites, to a short-list of 5 sites for further detailed analysis.CA: Solicitation for Offer (SFO) for Atlanta to be issued no later than August 18, 2009, responses from the bidders are due by August 31, 2009
Consular Affairs (CA): Site visit completed for Hot Springs 8/10 - 8/12CA: Buffalo SFO was released and comments are expected on August 21st.
CA: El Paso SFO to be issued to the two remaining bidders by 8/18/09
CA: GSA releasing SFO for San Diego by August 20, 2009
CA: JOTFO (Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition) has been approved & signed by GSA for National Passport Center, we should receive a new operations agreement by 8/25/09
