The Regional Procurement Support Offices (RPSO) are forward-based activities of the Office of Logistics Management - Office of Acquisitions Management (A/LM/AQM). The RPSO's main objective is to provide Foreign Service posts worldwide with a responsive and efficient procurement and contracting resource, and to support global initiatives.  Acquisition items range from household appliances, copiers, paper, paper shredders, vehicles, FE/BR doors and windows, to body bags and coffins.

U.S. Embassy Tokyo supports purchasing needs particularly those in Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Africa, the Near East, the Middle East, and the Far East.

Florida Regional Center supports American embassies, consulates or other posts located in Central/South America, the Caribbean, and certain West African countries.

Doing Business with RPSOs: Firms interested in doing business with RPSOs should send descriptive literature on their product line including prices.  Small, disadvantaged, veteran-owned, HUBZone, and small women-owned businesses should clearly indicate their size and ownership status when mailing product information.  While overseas posts are not required by law to comply with Federal socio-economic procurement preference programs, they attempt to observe such policies where practicable.
