The Loewen Group, Inc. and Raymond L. Loewen v. U.S. of America: Proceedings on Motion to Vacate

On February 25, 2005, one of the claimants in the Loewen arbitration, Mr. Raymond L. Loewen, moved to vacate the Tribunal's Award in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.  Mr. Loewen sought to have the case remanded to a new tribunal.  On October 31, 2005, the District Court denied Mr. Lowens' motion on the grounds that the motion was untimely.
