Commerce Group Corporation ("CGC") and San Sebastian Gold Mines, Inc. ("SSGM"), United States corporations involved in a joint venture holding mineral exploitation concessions and mineral processing facilities in El Salvador, allege that the Republic of El Salvador wrongfully revoked environmental permits for their mining operations effectively terminated those projects. CGC and SSGM allege CAFTA-DR violations of Article 10.3 (national treatment), Article 10.4 (most-favored-nation treatment), Article 10.5 (minimum standard of treatment) and Article 10.7 (expropriation).
