GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS WEEK

March 7-13, 2016

From March 7-13, 2016, the U.S. Department of State, in collaboration with Concordia, USAID, and PeaceTech Lab, will organize its annual Global Partnerships Week (GPW) celebration, under the theme “Leveraging Innovation in Partnerships” in recognition of the critical role public-private partnerships play in promoting diplomacy and development worldwide.
During one week each March, GPW inspires public and private organizations everywhere through self-organized local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as shared value collaborators.

Events

Kickoff Event—Partnership Practitioners Conference: GPW partners will convene the second annual gathering of partnership builders from all sectors for a one-day conference at the U.S. Institute of Peace on March 7. This event will bring together partnership practition-ers and leaders to engage in discussion on common challenges and best practices, identify new partnership opportunities, and coordinate on collaborative solutions.

Local Events: GPW features self-organized events, around the world from large-scale conferences and panels to intimate networking gatherings or webinars, that will serve to illuminate existing collaborations, as well as potential partnership opportunities.
