SECRETARY CLINTON:
Well, I’m very pleased to welcome President Préval, a longtime friend, to the State Department. We’re going to be discussing ways that, along with the international community, we can help support Haiti and the Haitian people. We want to be working with them as they continue to build a vibrant democracy and a growing economy. And I know that President Obama shares my commitment to helping you, Mr. President, work on behalf of your people. Welcome.
