Well, it is such a delight and indeed a continuing honor to welcome Liberia’s president here to the State Department, someone who is not only doing an extraordinary job of leading her country and dealing with the accumulated challenges that she inherited upon becoming president, but is also, through her leadership in West Africa, playing a very important role in helping to deal with the problems that go beyond her borders but which affect her people.
