On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, I am delighted to send congratulations to the people of Monaco as you celebrate your 155th National Day this November 19. I also want to congratulate Prince Albert and Princess Charlene on their marriage and wish them the greatest happiness in the years to come.
For more than 150 years, Monaco and the United States have worked together as partners and friends. Today we share a strong commitment to international cooperation in addressing some of the world's toughest challenges and greatest opportunities. Around the world we are working to promote greater freedom, transparency and human rights.
The United States is committed to Monaco's future and we look forward to strengthening this partnership even more. Best wishes on this special day.
