Secretary Clinton: Travel to Sharm el-Sheikh, Jerusalem, Ramallah, and Amman

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton traveled to Sharm el-Sheikh, Jerusalem, Ramallah and Amman from September 13 to 16, 2010.

On Tuesday, Secretary Clinton participated in the continuation of direct negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians in Sharm el-Sheikh. She also had a bilateral meeting with Egyptian President Mubarak. On Wednesday, she joined the parties for further discussions in Jerusalem and participated in bilateral meetings with Israeli officials. On Thursday, Secretary Clinton met with Palestinian President Abbas and Palestinian Prime Minister Fayyad in Ramallah and concluded her trip by meeting with Jordanian King Abdullah in Amman.
