Secretary of State Colin L. Powell undertook a one-day trip to Ottawa, Canada, on Thursday, November 14, for the purpose of consulting on a broad range of issues of mutual concern with one of our closest allies and best friends. The Secretary met with his counterpart, Foreign Minister William Graham, and attended a luncheon hosted by the Foreign Minister and attended by other Canadian officials.
