| | Secretary of State Colin L. Powell visited Hungary, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Poland, July 26 to August 1. In the Middle East, Secretary Powell discussed with our close friends the situation in Iraq, cooperation in the war on terror, Gaza disengagement, and reform in the Broader Middle East and North Africa. In Hungary, he met with a wide spectrum of Hungarian society to emphasize the strength of our bilateral relationship and spoke to a meeting of Hungarian Chiefs of Missions.
