The fundamental values of the OAS (Organization of American States) and the Inter-American Democracy Charter and reaches out to Cuba if they choose to respond with a process that would address the fundamental questions about democracy and human rights. That is what we are hoping to achieve and we believe that we've made more progress in four months than has been made in a number of years and that we need to work together to continue that kind of progress, keeping in mind the legitimate aspirations and the human rights of the people of Cuba.

We are very confident and optimistic about building on the strong relationship that we have with El Salvador and we are looking to see how we can make every aspect of our relationship, including our free trade agreement, work even better. We want to build on the progress that's been made but we want to see positive results. We want to see actual steps taken by us and by others throughout the region that will really help people. That is our goal, I know it's the goal of the incoming government here in El Salvador and we look forward to working with them.
