On behalf of President Obama and the people of the United States, I congratulate the people of Monaco as you celebrate your 154th national day this November 19. Monaco and the United States have long enjoyed a friendship built on the deep connections between our people and our shared desire to leave a better world for future generations. This year we also celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Oceanographic Museum and honor the constant leadership Monaco has shown in preserving and protecting our world’s oceans. I wish all Monegasque people a happy holiday, and I look forward to deepening our partnership in the year ahead.
