The friendship between our two countries is strengthened by our shared commitment to advancing freedom and prosperity.  Luxembourg has been central to promoting European unity and integration. Your leadership has helped bring together the countries of Europe and contributed to the dynamism that we see today in our transatlantic relationship.
As you commemorate your National Day, know that the people of the United States stand with you. Best wishes for a joyful celebration and a future filled with peace, prosperity and happiness.
