WMDT works with a team composed of other ISN offices to combat biological terrorism. WMDT seeks to ensure policies and activities address evolving threats; eliminate imminent threats; prevent new threats from emerging; and mitigate the impact of a bioterrorism event by strengthening international response and consequence management. Our efforts are organized around the four pillars of the US biodefense strategy.
