The Office of Congressional & Public Affairs is responsible for facilitating effective communication and interaction between the Assistant Secretary and the staff of the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs and the Congress, foreign and domestic media, and the general public. CPA is responsible for managing the PM Bureau’s Congressional affairs, public affairs, and public diplomacy functions.
