Adherence to and Compliance with Arms Control, Nonproliferation, and Disarmament Agreements and Commitments
The Report was transmitted to Congress on behalf of the President by Secretary Rice on August 30, 2005. It reflects the importance the Administration and Congress place upon verifying compliance with, and detecting violations of, arms control, nonproliferation and disarmament treaties, agreements and commitments. It also provides an assessment of U.S. adherence to obligations it has undertaken and the U.S. assessment of the adherence of other nations to obligations undertaken in arms control, nonproliferation, and disarmament treaties, agreements and commitments.
