Virtual Student Foreign Service (VSFS) 2012-2013 eIntern Positions

The application period for the 2012-2013 VSFS eInternship program is July 2-20, 2012. Student applicants will need to complete and submit the vacancy announcement during this time on the USAJobs site. Available positions for State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) domestic office and overseas post projects are posted below and can be viewed in map form. Each project has a unique tag identifier. In the online application, students will identify up to three projects to which they are interested in applying to by selecting the appropriate tag. Tags that begin with “DOS” indicate that the project is with a State Department domestic office. Tags that begin with “AID” indicate that the project is with a USAID domestic office. Tags that begin with a single letter indicate that the project is with a U.S. diplomatic post abroad.

Applicants will be notified of both selection and non-selection by mid-September. Selected students will begin eInternships in September 2012.
