Mission To build a dynamic partnership between American business and the Department of State in order to promote U.S. economic growth, international security, and democratic institutions in the global economy. Goals 1. To champion U.S. business interests overseas with advocacy, troubleshooting, and market access support. 2. To articulate and advocate U.S. business perspectives and concerns to Department of State officials so that business interests are factored into foreign policy making and management. 3. To represent the Department of State's views to the business community, and to engage business leaders on international issues which affect business, such as anti-corruption, open markets, and the importance of international business to Americans at home.
