The School was founded in 1957. The school year comprises 2 semesters extending from mid-August to mid-June. Membership in the Association is automatically conferred on the parents or guardians of children enrolled in the School. The School's testing program includes the College Board tests. Instruction is in English. German, Japanese and French are taught as foreign languages. An extensive English-as-a-Foreign-Language program is offered in both the Junior School (grades 1-5) and Middle School (grades 6-8).
