Foreign Service Written Examination: The next Foreign Service Written
Examination is scheduled for Saturday, September 29, 2001. Registration materials,
including the on-line registration system, will be available by June 15, 2001.
Watch this Web site for more information. An order form for the new Study
Guide for the 2001 exam will be included in the registration, and an on-line
order form will also be made available by June 15, 2001. Foreign
Service Oral Assessment If you passed the 2000 Foreign Service
Written Exam in November 2000 and you are scheduled to take the Foreign Service
Oral Assessment, be sure to check out the description of the Oral Assessment,
information on test sites, and sample exercises now available at www.state.gov/careers/fsoa.html.
