In 1997, War Victims Fund spent $7.5M for orthopedic assistance and reintegration programs to victims of landmines and UXO in Angola, Cambodia, Laos, Liberia, Mozambique, and Vietnam. Fund supports ICRC prosthetics training center in Tanzania. Supports Landmines Survivors Network program in Bosnia. Hosted Global Humanitarian Demining 2010 Initiative Conference in Washington, DC in May 1998. |
