EB/TRA routinely deals with the U.S. Department of Transportation, and provides advice to the Secretary of Transportation on overall foreign policy concerns as well as on specific negotiations. The Office also works closely with the National Economic Council. EB/TRA also oversees maritime and land transport policy activities, working closely with the Maritime Administration and the Federal Maritime Commission.
