Please speak with the REO if you are considering this post for a high schooler. The school is able and willing to accommodate students within the following categories: hearing impaired, physically and orthopedically impaired, visually impaired, autistic, specifically learning disabled, multiple disabilities, other health impairment, speech or language impaired. Special needs support services include: teacher accommodations, teacher accommodations learning support teacher, learning support teacher, use of IEP and ILP. Maximum hours per week per student for push in 2 to 4 for pull out 2 to 4. Special needs support staff in the school include: 2 social workers, 1 special needs coordinator, 2 learning support teachers, 3 guidance counselors. Services are available in English at post for the following: psychoeducational assessment, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavior and/or autism specialist, social skills group/social skills training, US credentialed reading specialist, reading remediation, reading programs for Dyslexia, math specialist.
