The Office of Contact Relationship Management supports the Department’s IT modernization efforts to equip staff with modern collaboration tools for mobile engagement with key audiences. Our platforms offer robust and timely data that makes it possible to conduct informed performance measurement and evaluation.
The office supports two primary initiatives:
Contact Relationship Management (CRM): The office manages the CRM cloud platform on behalf of the Department, providing diplomats with a solution for efficient contact management, email marketing, and event management. CRM offers powerful reporting, enabling staff to build historical-comparative and cumulative reports, transforming data into actionable insights.
GPA Strategic Email: The team manages and crafts the Department’s flagship email products. Chief responsibilities include managing State.gov’s flagship weekly email newsletter “The Week at State” and executing a public-facing email strategy.
