Ambassador Nathan A. Sales, the Coordinator for Counterterrorism, will deliver opening remarks during the Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF) Side Event “Threats, Challenges, and Resources related to FTF and Family Repatriation” on September 24 in New York City.  In his remarks, Ambassador Sales will call on countries to repatriate their citizens from Syria, prosecute those who have committed crimes, and rehabilitate and reintegrate those who have been exposed to terrorist ideology.  He will also acknowledge the successful repatriation efforts of various countries, and highlight tools and resources that can help countries repatriate their citizens.
