The American School of Dubai (ASD) is an independent, not-for-profit American community school, dedicated to challenging and inspiring students to achieve their dreams and becoming a passionate learner prepared to adapt and contribute in a rapidly changing world. The school was founded in 1966 and serves 2,031 students from 80 countries on a purpose-built campus opened in August 2010. The school year is from late August to early June.
