Amy E. Pope is a dynamic leader with experience conceptualizing and overseeing transformative change across organizations, including the International Organization for Migration (IOM).  As a champion of institutional governance reforms at IOM, Amy oversaw successful budget reform efforts resulting in an additional $75 million commitment from governments to optimize IOM’s field delivery and risk management, improve operational results, and strengthen coordination with the UN system and beyond.  With decades of experience addressing complex migration challenges, she has a strong record of translating policies into reality.  She has worked with a variety of stakeholders such as multilateral organizations, governments, and communities to develop strategies to respond to health crises, migration surges, trafficking in persons, and climate change.  Across her career, Amy has also spearheaded the development of people-focused policies to inspire and protect staff and bring out an organization’s best.  At IOM, she oversees critical governance reforms and resource management functions that enhance outputs to migrants, manage risk, and improve internal justice outcomes.
