In October 2020, the Department hosted the first-ever U.S. Government conference focused on combatting online antisemitism. Organized by the Office of the Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism, the virtual conference aimed to explore the threats posed by antisemitism on the internet and social media and to consider practical responses for governments and civil society.

The conference was subsequently screened virtually on the State Department website on October 21 and 22. The views expressed in the conference are those of the speakers and do not necessarily reflect the official policy of the State Department.
