Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs Brian A. Nichols will travel to San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico October 10-12.  In San Diego, Assistant Secretary Nichols will deliver a policy speech at the Institute of the Americas, visit the South Bay International Wastewater Treatment Plant, and tour the San Ysidro Port of Entry where he will meet with Department of Homeland Security and law enforcement officials.  In Tijuana, he will tour the United States Consulate, meet with consulate staff and local Mexican government officials, and participate in an industry roundtable focused on the semiconductor sector.
